Temptations are part of our lives. These temptations make us weak and sometimes lead us to fall into sin. All of us are struggling to resist and control temptations. It is hard because we are human. We know that humans are not perfect. Right? But God says in His word, [Human] can be perfect if they just pray and have faith to God every time they are in the midst of temptations. Unfortunately, we don’t practice ourselves become more prayerful and faithful. This is the reason we are easily get tempted and eventually, fall into sin. Temptation is not a sin. It will become a sin if you put it in to an action.

One of our problem is that we don’t have this open-minded attitudes when it comes to determining a certain situation if it is a temptation or not. Let us admit it, we people see things us everything is perfect and correct. We are always kept on saying to ourselves “Oh, I have learned a lessons for this particular problem. I will never do it again!”.  The question is, do we stop doing it because we knew that this will make us become sinful? or We let these things to happen again because we can’t resist the temptations?  Pause for awhile and reflect before you will answer these questions.

Temptations come in situation. So we have to have to let our minds be open in determining if the situation is a sort of temptation. I will give you one example of temptations and tips on how to resist on it.

This is one of the major temptations existing in our world today. It is so hard to resist it especially to the men out there.  Right?  We are talking about lust and this is, considered as a pleasure of humans. Actually, we can resist this kind of temptations in means of praying. For example, when you browse your Internet and suddenly there was a pop-up image like this :

For you to not totally be tempted, 1st open your mind. 2nd Know that it is one way for you to get tempted. Now you knew that it is a temptation, 3rd diverting your mind into other things will help you not  be tempted. If it is not effective, the best thing to do for it is to PRAY TO OUR ALMIGHTY FATHER. Say this prayer “Almighty Father, I have come before you to ask, to give me this strength in resisting evil ways such as this temptations. I am your child, I have fear in you and I don’t want to fall into sin. This I ask in Jesus Name, Amen!” Don’t be afraid to pray, because God will always hear us. He won’t let us down. He will be happy to listen to you because God sees that you don’t want to fall totally in to temptation.

There are many forms of temptations depending on the situation. But the best way to do when you are into temptation is to PRAY and everything will fall into place. “Don’t be afraid of doing good because this will make God smile and be proud of you”. RESIST TEMPTATIONS BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!

Shall we accept the good from God and not trouble? In all this Job did not sin in what he said….. ….1 Jn 5 18 Phi We know that the true child of God does not sin he is in the charge of Gods own Son and the evil one cannot touch him…..Gal 5 16-17 Jer Let me put it like this if you are guided by the Spirit you will be in no danger of yielding to self-indulgence since self-indulgence is the opposite of the Spirit the Spirit is totally against such a thing…….James 4 7 NIV Submit yourselves then to God.
